The current series of paintings of Australian themes of beaches and desert were inspired by a recent trip to Western Australia's Margaret River region and upbringing in Perth. There is a unique blend of turquoise coloured sea and fine white sand contrasted with flat plains of deep red earth and lush greens when you travel a short distance inland.

Other artworks completed are abstract paintings inspired by music, pastel life drawings and sculptures in resin and metal.

My illustration work is varied. Painting, collage and sculpture.

Originally I trained and worked as a commercial interior designer and continued to paint as a hobby since childhood. I finally decided to take a new direction to focus on a more creative career and studied a BA in Illustration at Westminster University.

I work full time as an artist and exhibit regularly. This year I have exhibited at Candidarts in Islington, Art in Mind Part 11 in EC1, Battersea Contemporary Art Fair and am showing at the Artshed Gallery in New Milton.

It is possible to arrange to see work by appointment in North London.

Commissions are available if you like what you see, but require a different size.
