The current series of oil paintings are representative of recent travels. Norfolk, Cornwall, Paris and Western Australia. Other artworks completed are abstract paintings inspired by music, photography, pen and ink drawings, pastel life drawings, cards and prints.

I moved to East Broadland, Norfolk in 2010 to focus completely on painting seascapes and rural landscapes. An in-house studio provides ample space to create and a suitable environment for visitors during the annual Norfolk Open studios in May/June to enjoy the mini gallery. On my doorstep is a local boat dyke and also nearby is a favourite location for bird watching in the marshes. A twenty minute drive and I am at my favourite beaches, Horsey Gap seal watching in January and Sea Palling swimming in the warmer months.

Originally I trained and worked as a commercial interior designer in Sydney and London and continued to paint as a hobby. I finally decided to take a new direction to focus completely on art and subsequently studied a BA in Illustration at Westminster University and a Masters at the University of Hertfordshire in fine and applied arts practice.

I work full time as an artist and exhibit regularly. Historically, I have exhibited at Chorak and Queenswood Cafes in Muswell Hill, Candidarts in Islington, Art in Mind Part 11 in EC1, Battersea Contemporary Art Fair and Artshed Gallery in New Milton. More recently I showed at the Forum in Norwich and St Margaret’s church in St Benedict’s street, Norwich.

It is possible to arrange to see work by appointment outside of exhibition times, please use the contact form on this website. I am located just 8 miles East of Norwich.

Commissions are available if you like what you see, but require a different size.
