Objective
|
My current art practice is inspired by local surroundings, Norfolk Broads, East Anglia beaches, Dykes and vast rural landscapes. I am using oil paints to create a series of new paintings using blending, scumbling, feathering and pallet knife techniques to form layers of information and depth. Wheat is reflected in a multiplicity of colours and large expansive skies form the back drop. Travels further afield to Cornwall, Paris and areas near my birthplace Perth also feature regularly in my work.
